A warm and comfortable base from which to explore Dartmoor

Beautifully converted to a high standard, the oak-floored barn is open plan but intimate, and heated by an efficient wood burning stove and night storage heaters. There is a grand piano which is beautiful to play. It is a calm and comfortable living space, equipped for two or three adults, plus a child or baby. A cot, high chair and all-terrain buggy are available.
The kitchen is well-equipped so that you can cook comfortably. There is a television with Freeview and DVD player, plus a selection of DVDs. There are two bookcases filled with books for you to enjoy, and a CD player with CDs. Original paintings and wooden animal head sculptures decorate the walls. There is a double bed in bedroom off the living space with Egyptian cotton bedding, anti-allergen pillows and duvet. The bedroom has a beamed ceiling and tasteful furnishings. A clock/radio alarm is provided, as is a chest of drawers and garment rail for clothes. A sofa bed is available in the main living room. The separate bathroom has a good shower, WC and washbasin. Towels, bathmat etc. are provided.
On arrival a welcome basket will get you started with essentials, but please ask if there is anything you need. We can order newspapers on request. Home cooked ready meals are available from Anna's Kitchen and can be pre-ordered for your stay.
We should mention, there is no smoking in the barn. There is no access for wheelchairs, however if you have a disability we would be happy to advise on suitability.
